After restoration of democracy in 2046 B.S. and liberal economic and institutional policy of subsequent elected government provided favourable environment to establish non-governmental organizations in Nepal, CRDS Nepal was established in 2048 B.S. Initially it was established as local NGO to work for micro level community development activities and later it was able to get status of national NGO. Due to lack of sufficient manpower and capacity to develop wider development strategy CRDS Nepal worked in line with strategy developed by partner organizations and donor organizations. CRDS Nepal gained valuable experience and developed institutional capabilities through working with diverse partners and working areas indebted to all of those to bring present status of CRDS.
CRDS Nepal got valuable partnership of Different donor agencies and partner organization during 2049 BS and carried different development programs in Darchula district and other part of Nepal. Donor agencies and our partner enhanced technical as well as managerial capacity of CRDS Nepal during past years and CRDS Nepal and its team are highly thankful for this support.
